On behalf of the executive I would like to thank everyone who attended the Oct.14th banquet and awards recognition night. Over 200 were in attendance and enjoyed a warm evening of socialization and friendship. The meal was excellent as always and thank-you to Theresa Godby for her continued support. Congratulations to all those recognized for their prowess during this year's ball and a special recognition to the umpires who were in attendance for their first banquet. Also congrats to the door prize winners who garnered over $1000 in prizes. The League also formally apologizes to the Pt.Burwell Lakers who were mistakenly referred to as the Mariners. It should be noted that the Lakers are the only original Tri-County team remaining and it was good to see the successful year they had in '06. Your continued support of this function makes it one of the most successful of it's kind in the area and is a great way to wrap up a fine season of fastball.
