The Vics opened the scoring in the first thanks to Bob Gillow's solo home run. In their half, though, the Kelseys came storming back with four, highlighted by Jamie Atkinson's 3-run homer. Both teams battled hard the rest of the way, but Ayr couldn't solve pitcher Mike Pullin, who won his third complete game of the series. Dwayne Oberle went the distance in the loss.
