With the Eagles and Bulls making their playoff debuts with what would be considered perfect playoff temperatures. The Eagles got it started early with a bunt single followed by a 2-run HR by Jon Atkinson to make it 2-0 after 1. In the 2nd the Eagles put up another run with a solo HR by Sean Mclaren. The Eagles had no signs of let up putting up 7 more runs over their next two at bats including a 2nd HR by Sean Mclaren in the 4th. However the bit story of this was Eagles starting pitcher Tim Neil who retired all 15 batters he faced in order, including 8 strikeouts and not even allowing a fly ball into the outfield, for what would be his first career post season perfect game. Game 2 will go sunday night in burgessville where the probable starters with be the Eagles' Rob Dixon vs the Bulls' Shawn Steinhoff.
