Norwich got the scoring started in the bottom half of the first inning with a Randy Zylstra single and a Jeremy Tribe double to the fence to cash one, Dylan Polfliet then hit a single to cash one and later ended up scoring on an errand throw by the Lakers catcher. In the top of 2 the Lakers answered with Scotty Lovell and Darren Ungar reaching base then Bryan Roloson hitting a 3 run bomb to right field to knot the game at 3's. In the bottom of 3 Tyler Zylstra put the tigers up 4-3 with an RBI single. In the bottom of 4 the Tigers scored another run after a Kyle Routledge single, he then stole second and Bryan Phillips cashed him on a single of his own. Polfliet settled right in on the mound sitting down batter after batter only giving up one more run in the 5th on a Sean Gear double scoring Donny Nevill. In the bottom of the fifth (The Beast) Dylan Polfliet went yard for a solo homerun pushing the tigers lead to 6-4. In the bottom of 6 the Tigers offence exploded for 5 runs, Phillips hit a double, Tribe an RBI single, Rhiley Ingalls a 2 run single, Derek Smart drew a bases loaded walk to cash another, then Kyle Routledge stepped to the plate with the mercy run on third, ripped a line drive single down the first base line to walk it off earning himself the NCC sprinkler head player of the game.
